Art of Love (2023) โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŽจ๐ŸŒต

Art of Love is a film that tackles a taboo topic

Sex toys and loneliness are the themes that it picks

Adam and Eve are the leads who start off as foes

But as they work together, their attraction grows

The film has a progressive view and courage to explore

The issues of intimacy and connection that many ignore

The change of relationship between Adam and Eve is well done

Not too fast or too slow, but believable and fun

The casting is also good, both actors are convincing

Especially Adam, a self-loving influencer who needs some rinsing

The boss is a pocket-sized demon who adds some spice

Adam’s downfall is depicted short and to the point, which is nice

The film stays neutral about the sex toy industry

It does not judge or praise, but shows it as a reality

However, the film has some flaws that could have been better

Such as the missed opportunity for children in the story since they matter.

They could have judged the marriage situation of their dad

Who was close-minded and selfish, and made their mom sad

We had no backstory or motivation for his actions or his choice

His replacement wife was just a product, she had no voice

Adam and Eve also had a default character arc

They learned to love themselves and each other, but it was not very stark

They could have faced more challenges or dilemmas on their way

To make their journey more compelling and less clichรฉ

Art of Love is a film that tries to break some norms

It has some positive aspects, but also some thorns

Like a cactus, it can prick you, but also make you smile

It is worth a watch, but don’t expect it to be very wild

The reviewers deducted a point because in a poem they used a cactus as an object of great rawness

They thought it was too cheesy and lacked some finesse

One of the reviewers got custom made medication with his name on it in the middle

He said it was a nice touch, but it did not solve this riddle

Art of Love is a film that has some charm and wit

But it also has some flaws that make it not a perfect hit

It is a decent comedy with some drama and is no reason for a rant.

But it could have been more daring and less bland.
