The movie, Shotgun Wedding, was a funny play on words. It was like an elevator ride, where love and action seamlessly come together to find the perfect floor. He was supposed to be what he was. He entertained. Pretty good. They wanted to excite all movie fans. Everything from action, comedy, and love story with a few twists. No character depth or backstory. We don’t even know how the main characters met. We know how the love interests met, but not the main protagonists. The character development arc was flatter than a train crash victim. Just like how the reviewers were able to untangle a Germany wide scam network that used google fonts to steal money from innocent victims, the protagonist in the movie also had to navigate through dangerous situations. When CGI was used, it was proportional and technically well done. No huge unnecessary explosions. Hand-to-hand combat was well executed and no unrealistic moves were performed. Well-executed camera work, usage of mostly dolly and static shots. Very good casting, characters required no specialized skill set, so acting was okay. The father of the bride was poorly cast, the reactions were too muted.
