Dumb money is a movie about how we took on Wall Street by buying GameStop stocks 🚀🚀🚀. It’s based on the real events that happened in 2021, when we made history and changed the world 🌎🌎🌎.

The movie shows how Keith Gill, aka u/DeepFuckingValue, aka Roaring Kitty, started the movement by investing his life savings in GameStop and posting his gains on r/WallStreetBets. He inspired millions of people to join him and pump up the price of GameStop, causing huge losses for the hedge funds that had shorted it. The movie also shows how the media, politicians, regulators, and celebrities reacted to the frenzy and tried to stop us or join us.

The movie has some good and bad points. The good points are:

• It has a good and nice topic to write about. It’s a story of how the little guys can fight back against the corrupt system and make some money along the way.
• It has a good casting. The actors who play Keith Gill, Steve Cohen, Vlad Tenev, and others do a great job of portraying their characters.

• It shows the impact to the general population. It shows how people from different backgrounds and walks of life got involved in the movement and how it affected their lives.

The bad points are:

• It uses flash forwards to show what happens to some of the characters after the events. Some people might find this confusing or unnecessary.
• It is very emotional and anti-establishment at the end. Keith Gill gives a speech to Congress and rallies his followers to hold their positions and not sell their shares. He says that this is not about money, but about sending a message to Wall Street that they can’t control them anymore. Some people might find this unrealistic or cheesy.
