Dream Scenario ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜ค

The fellas were sitting in a train by MVV and DB that was on time, started on the correct Plattform and wheelchair accessible. They realised it had to be a dream. They wrote the following review:

“Dream Scenario” stands as a testament to the power of original storytelling and the nuanced portrayal of a character caught in the throes of societal whims. The film’s humor, particularly, shines through, creating a shared experience that is rare in cinema. Audiences found themselves laughing, scared, and jumping in unison, a phenomenon that speaks to the film’s ability to connect with viewers on a visceral level. It captures the ephemeral nature of fame and the volatile whims of public opinion. It’s a narrative that resonates with the story of Flappy Bird’s creator, whose sudden rise to fame was quickly overshadowed by intense scrutiny and pressure, leading to a retreat from the public eye.

The movie’s completely original script is its strongest asset, presenting a passive protagonist, Paul Matthews, portrayed brilliantly by Nicolas Cage, whose actions inadvertently become a mirror to society’s expectations. As he turns into what society wants him to be, the film comments on the nature of celebrity and the public’s role in creating and destroying it.

Cage’s performance is exceptional, and while the film missed an opportunity to include a scene selling a gold AK-47, which would have added depth during the intrusion sequence, it still stands out for its creative use of POV camera work in the chase scenes. The editing is particularly noteworthy for its ability to transition between dreams and reality, keeping the audience engaged and questioning.

However, the film’s continuation past the Norio commercial to the point where the character vanishes into the social abyss feels like an unnecessary extension. It detracts from what could have been a powerful ending, leaving the audience with a sense of incompletion as Paul Matthews disappears without a trace.

In conclusion, “Dream Scenario” is a thought-provoking film that delves into the psyche of society and the individual, exploring the consequences of fame and the collective desire for novelty and entertainment. It’s a film that offends, captivates, and ultimately leaves a positive lasting impression on contemporary cinema.
